A Comment on Gershom Gorenberg

I left this comment at Gershom Gorenberg's take-down of Bibi through his father:

Of course, GG could have noted that Bibi's father was 40 years older than him when Bibi was born.  Maybe there's something there too that could be odd?  But let's not be too sardonic.  In order to get at Bibi, GG dismisses all the well-known truths about Israeli elites (and what happened to Joseph Klausner?) in a sort of 'be that as it may' and proceeds nevertheless to snap at Bibi's heels. The fact of the matter is that "right-wing nationalist Zionist thought" has been correct on all the major issues facing Jews in the 20th and now the 21st centuries: anti-Semitism, Arab implaccability, methods of achieving statehood, etc.  That's what bothers GG (oh, that's pronounced like Bibi, not Gaga).
